Severn Wye are looking for a CEO with vision, clear leadership skills and the character required to successfully lead and develop our organisation and enable our passionate and committed staff to achieve their individual and team potential.
We’re an award-winning sustainability charity, working across Wales and its English border counties. Since 1999, we’ve been working towards a world where natural resources are used sustainably, communities are resilient against inequality and climate change does not threaten our future.
We operate in four main areas of sustainability, supporting households with home energy, offering business energy support to SMEs, supporting rural communities and economies and research on new sustainable energy and carbon capture technologies.
We currently have over 40 individual projects running, with a turnover of around £4 million. These projects are run by 55 staff, either based at Highnam, Llandrindod Wells or working from home across South Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Wales.
We’re looking for someone who has great strategic management skills and the vision to lead an organisation of people working across a diverse range of projects and in a range of locations. If you’ve got experience in the energy sector that’s a bonus, but we’re interested in meeting fantastic candidates with exceptional leadership skills from a wide range of industry backgrounds.
