Development Initiatives is a mission led organisation working globally to ensure that data-driven evidence and analysis are used effectively in policy and practice to end poverty, reduce inequality and increase resilience.
Headquartered in the UK, Development Initiatives works locally, nationally and globally, and in the last five years our work has covered 78 countries. Our team is based in the UK, Kenya, Uganda and the United States.
Development Initiatives is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment and is an equal opportunities employer.
This is an exciting time for Development Initiatives as we begin to operationalise our new strategy, regionalising our work through a network of Hubs around the world to ensure we are much closer to partners and enabling us to respond more efficiently to changes and challenges in each region. We are a not for profit company, and are ambitious to grow our consulting business to balance earned income and grant funding.
Our new Chief Executive will be joining a passionate, committed and highly experienced team who are recognised experts in their fields, and supported by a cohesive and supportive Board.
You will bring us proven credentials as an inclusive leader in a global organisation, with commercial business acumen and experience of managing, developing and retaining a geographically dispersed team. You bring deep understanding of the political economy of poverty, data and development, and experience of building long term funding and business partnerships.
