Educate Together Educational Trust (ETAT) is a values-driven Trust with a mission to create excellent schools based on the Educate Together values and ethos where learning is truly child-centred and equity-based. We strive for innovative, evidence-based and bold practice that meets the ever-evolving needs of our children and staff. We have been operating in the UK since 2016 and currently operate four schools based in the Southwest, with another opening in September 2022 and an ambition to expand further. Due to the retirement of our current CEO, we are seeking an outstanding strategic leader to drive our strategy, in line with our values and ethos.
Through your leadership, we will realise our vision to create centres of educational excellence where our young people will thrive. You will have experience of successful educational and organisational leadership in an environment of rapid growth or change. You will be comfortable taking responsibility for the overall performance of the Trust: leading a team of dedicated education professionals, being prepared to challenge norms and innovate whilst maintaining and growing the Trust’s reputation. Our new CEO will have the perfect blend of skills, experience, and personality to drive us forward in a collaborative, people-centred way.
Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Director of Education and Trust Board, the role will see you taking the strategic lead on all aspects of Trust development – from delivery of the vision and ethos to the nurturing of stakeholder relationships. You will create and improve relationships with internal and external partners to ensure service and performance levels alongside financial sustainability for the Trust. You will embody the child-centred and people focused ethos – ensuring the Trust is an employer of choice and demonstrates its commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion. You will use systems of external accreditation and evaluation to extend the positive profile of the Trust and enhance our reputation. You will take a pro-active approach to managing resources in a cost-effective manner that ensures continuity of performance.
If you think you have the vision, experience, and enthusiasm to make this role your own please have a look through the detailed Job Description in the Candidate Pack on our website. If you would like to have an informal conversation about the role in the first instance, our Trust Chair will be more than happy to do so, so please drop us a line.
We look forward to hearing from you and to working with you to build ETAT’s reputation as a leading education provider and employer of choice.
The salary will be circa £80,000 to £90,000 per annum.
The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 8th April at 9am.
Interviews will be held on Tuesday 26th April.
