BAFTA plays a major role in supporting the next generation of film, games and TV talent through various initiatives. Our expert membership helps BAFTA to deliver this vision by sharing their knowledge, helping us to identify those with talent, and working collectively to drive positive change within our industries.
Members vote in our annual Awards across Film, Games and Television. They enjoy a programme of learning and networking events, exclusive screenings, as well as a host of other benefits and offers including access to 195 Piccadilly.
The Role
This is an extraordinary role and the first time it has become available since 2000. BAFTA’s Chief Executive Officer is responsible for designing, developing and implementing BAFTA’s vision, strategy and values. This includes: the reach and reputation of the global BAFTA brand and championing the screen industries it represents, as well as key pillars of its values such as a commitment to sustainability and diversity and inclusion.
This role has overall accountability for the aims of the charity whilst always keeping the interests of its audiences, industry, members and the public at the heart of what BAFTA does. It leads the strategic and sustainable development of the charity, whilst constantly exploring and developing new income opportunities, in order to evolve the global impact of BAFTA’s work.
This is a hands-on, relationship-building role in a fast-paced, multi-layered creative environment and a unique opportunity to build on achievements to date whilst ensuring BAFTA continues to grow and develop on a global scale.
