The Department for Enterprise is responsible for economic development and the creation of an environment where local entrepreneurship is supported and thriving and more new businesses are choosing to call the Isle of Man home. As Chief Executive Officer, you will provide strategic leadership and direction for the Department for Enterprise on the Island. As the most senior civil servant within the Department, you will provide confident, visible, strategic and values led leadership and direction for the Department’s 180 employees. This is a limited term appointment for 5 years.
It’s important that you are a credible business leader with a diverse background to lead the Department to deliver the ambitious goals set out in the Department for Enterprise Department Plan, including reviewing the Island’s employment law, developing and protecting key air links and completing a full realisation of the new Medicinal Cannabis sector.
