Open For Business is a coalition of leading global companies dedicated to LGBTQ+ inclusion. Our task is to present the business rationale for global LGBTQ+ inclusion: successful, enterprising businesses thrive in diverse, inclusive societies and the spread of anti-LGBTQ+ policies runs counter to the interests of business and economic growth.
Open For Business seeks to leverage the influence of the private sector to advance LGBTQ+ rights. As an impact-focused organisation, it has three programmatic strands. First, the Research Programme presents ground-breaking analysis of the economic case for LGBTQ+ inclusion; second, the Global Influencer Programme raises awareness on high-profile global platforms; third, the Local Influencer Programme builds strong networks of local senior business leaders to advance inclusion in their societies – with teams working in the Caribbean, Central & Eastern Europe and East Africa, and currently rolling out in South East Asia.
Launched in September 2015, Open For Business has demonstrated it can have a real impact and play a unique role in helping to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ people around the world. We have a proven model, and we need to scale it. To do this, Open For Business is looking to recruit a Chief Executive Officer. We are looking for a leader who can grow the organisation, shape its future and amplify its impact. The salary for this role is £120,000. It is desirable that the Chief Executive be based in the UK with the right to live and work in the country, but Open For Business are willing to consider alternatives on a case by case basis.
