Established as a charity in 1978, The Northam Care Trust offers person centred support to individuals with learning and physical disabilities across North Devon and North Cornwall.
Excellence, personalisation and engagement are at the very core of what we do.
Within our broad range of services, we provide support for people with profound and multiple learning and physical disabilities and complex health needs, people with autism, people with other learning disabilities and additional needs, older people and people with dementia and people with mental health problems in our Service Continuum. This continuum underpins our business model and includes our Residential Lodges, our substantial Supported Living Schemes, our seven-day week day opportunities and ‘in the community’ support through our Community Projects and Outreach Services, our Enabling Services and our more recent Domiciliary Care services. Excellent communication, respect, dignity, engagement, support for carers and a set of values and behaviours underpin our work and add value with personalisation at the core.
We have achieved so much over the past 4 years, of which we are very proud, and this is an exciting time to join the charity as our new Chief Executive; you will build on the foundations of success, growth and improvement but there is still much to do!
We are looking for an energetic, passionate leader who shares our vision and can make change happen. You will be strong, decisive and diplomatic, with an entrepreneurial, commercial approach, motivated by this opportunity to drive The Northam Care Trust’s vision, mission and future growth strategy.
If you are excited by what you read, meet the criteria set out in the candidate pack and are enthused about this rewarding, but challenging role, we very much look forward to receiving your application.
