We are looking for someone who can take CHF forward, as with many specialised charities those we support need our voice more than ever. The impact of the pandemic on the NHS and the specialist care our families need has magnified this whilst making traditional routes of fundraising more difficult.
With this backdrop ensuring strong financial management, operational planning and staff management within budgetary controls is critical.
Understanding our families, their issues and how CHF can support and help address them is crucial to this role. Communicating to understand this and share this with policymakers, other charities, fundraisers is vital.
Key responsibilities include:
· Fundraising Leadership – developing a high performing fundraising that can build income from a variety of sources.
· Communication – Skilled communication within a variety of arenas using a number of different media. Careful representation of the CHF ethos and brand.
· Relationships – maximising the potential of all networking, regional and national links and new opportunities to expand income generation.
· Management – day-to-day management of the charity.
· Strategy, Planning and Reporting – in partnership with the Board of Trustees and the team.
