We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced leader to work in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer to ensure all schools are providing a quality education provision and have oversight of our central provision to schools, predominantly in finance, estates leadership and management and human resources.
The successful candidate will head up a small, skilled central team (known as Create Central), work with the CEO to provide leadership and management for educational and operation matters. We are looking to recruit an outstanding leader that can identify and promote best practice to support our schools to continually improve.
The ideal candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership to our schools and the central team they will have excellent interpersonal skills and build effective relationships with colleagues at all levels. They will know how to engage, develop and empower people. They must have the ability to lead, and line manage teams effectively and positively and implement systems to drive improvements and nurture and develop leadership talent.
The Ideal candidate will have lead operational responsibility for the Trust’s central functions and will support the CEO with developing strategic plans. They will also contribute to the work of the Board of Trustees and its Committees.
The DCEO must share the Trust’s vison, values and commitment to the continued improvement of teaching and learning. Although we are offering this post as a full-time, permanent position (all year round with annual leave), we will also consider requests to work flexibly.
This is an exciting time to join Create Partnership Trust, which currently serves about 2,400 pupils. The Trust was formed in September 2016 by Greet Primary and Conway Primary which had been federated for several years. They were joined in January 2017 by Hodge Hill Primary and in November 2018 by Brookfields Primary, our first sponsored school.
The uniqueness of each school is respected and celebrated by the Trust, but we also seek ways of working in partnership by sharing best practice, meeting common challenges and developing joint policy.
